Skywatch Friday July 31, 2014 Edition

Here in Round Rock the day has been amazing for August 1.  Temperatures in the mid 80’s F. (29 C) instead of high 90’s (36 C) or over 100 F (37.7 C).  Humidity was 58%!  Just a wonderfully pleasant day.  These submissions for Skywatch Friday were made in the late evening as the sun was setting today.  Only had to walk a couple of blocks for these views.

View  looking north from the sidewalk just outside our apartment.

View looking west (obviously) from about a block away from home.

Final moments.

For really wonderful pictures of sky from different parts of earth visit

Skywatch Friday hosted by Yogi, Sylvia and Sandy.

Isn’t this a wonderful time of year? No matter where you are, anything can happen. I love your molten lava sunset. Happy weekend and happy skywatching!
