Finally back in a bit of a routine after a very busy summer. As I was processing some of the photos (over 2000) from our Canadian road trip I found these I had forgotten. They are not terribly clear so apologizes for that. The photos were taken along the road leading to Dyer’s Bay, Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada. I believe these to be a pair of Sandhill Cranes.

Wild Bird Wednesday 151
A recent visitor passed through on a trip to areas more to it liking. I did manage a few snaps of the happy little yellow birdie, common yellowthroat warbler.
And the the sweet little birdie was gone. I look forward to seeing it in the fall.
Make sure you stop over for more wild birds!

Wild Bird Wednesday 150
Enjoyed sitting on the patio the past few days watching the doves and mockingbirds. Doves are still somewhat amorous. Mockingbirds seem to be feeding hatchlings. And a female sparrow (I think) needed to pose a little. Here are a few of the shots.
The doves in action ….
Now you grab a camera and head out for some fun birding. Or just click here.
Wild Bird Wednesday – 136 – Spoonbills
Still more photos from our visit to the South Padre Island Birding & Nature Center. We were pretty psyched to see these beauties! At first there were just four.
Then in the distance there came a much larger group following this one.
Even though it has been almost 3 months, it is still pretty exciting to think of all the wonderful birds we saw in this very small birding center. Can hardly wait for the next adventure! Till then I invite you to join all the great birders over at Stewart’s.
