These are some of the fence photos from our San Diego visit in March.
Just a simple chain link fence wearing an orchid corsage for prom days…. maybe?
Who does not love a picket fence surrounded by flowers! Maybe Huck Finn.
Then the wall fence with ornate entry gate.
Think I was concentrating more on the roof design that the fence but both are pretty old world…
Thanks to host TexWisGirl, akaTheresa,
Today the skies are mostly clouds here in my part of the world. I am choosing to share some photos from about a month ago on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. We visited the Torrey Pines Gliderport. It was spring break time so lots of activity.
This was the view opposite the sign.
A few feet further and these were what we saw!
That’s right, folks jumping off of perfectly good land with nothing but a kite on their back!
Turns out there is a nude beach, a rarity in the US, just below this cliff. Maybe that is the reason for jumping!
Please, visit all the skies across the world by clicking here.
Thanks to Skywatch Friday hosts

This photo was taken about 40 miles south of the US/Canada border in 2008. Taking a stop to stretch our legs we were fascinated by the rows of clouds. The clouds were unlike any we saw in the Midwest. The beauty of the Great Plains is just so vast and inspiring.
THURSDAY PHOTO THEME
A view of Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau from Fairview Mountain, June 8, 2008. All the canoes were heading back to cover as a spring shower was approaching.
Mt. Richardson, Mt. Catarack and Mt. Redoubt are a few of the peaks in the background. All of the view is of the Banff National Park of Canada.
More beautiful pictures of Large things can be enjoyed by visiting Thursday Challenge hosted by Dale.
