Fishing At The Duck Pond

On a late August afternoon Middle Grandson requested a fishing trip to The Duck Pond.  It is in the high 90’s, possibly above 100 degrees in Central Texas.  Pond temperatures are warm and the fishes settle toward the bottom at this time of day.  Pointing this fact did not deter the ‘need’ to fish.  With MG and his BFF we set off for the nearby Duck Pond, a favorite fishing hole for young kids.

Here are a few of the photos I shot while the guys did their thing.  Thank goodness there were benches in the shade!

  1. Fantastic!!! What a wonderful outing…tho, very hot. Love the ducklings, the turtles, and the ambiance…I’d be looking for a bench under the shade of the Oak Trees Too!!! The favorite of mine today is the Tail Gating Ducks. lol

Thanks for sharing the link so we could all enjoy the day.
