Good Fences #77

How can it be Thursday again!  Oh, how the days fly by in retirement.  As promised, let’s visit a few more fences in Wisconsin.  This day we will spend touring some of Madison.  First the University of Wisconsin Arboretum and next the Monona Terrace.

The Arboretum

Sculpture or fence?

Now to The Old Fashioned Tavern and Restaurant on the ‘square’ around the Capitol building.  The area was busy as this night was a free concert on the lawn of the Capitol.  The only parking we found in walking distance was a meter that had to be fed ever 27 minutes.  But the atmosphere, brews, beer cheese soup and the fried cheese curds made the trip worth it!!!!

Last fence of the day is at the top of the Children’s Museum just off the square.

Have a great week and visit the fences!

Thanks to host TexWisGirl, akaTheresa,  over at the Run*A*Round Ranch Report.

    • It was loads of fun. Hubby loves the show on public radio named ‘What Da You Know”. It broadcasts from a stage at the Monona Terrace Convention Center. So there is one shot of Hubs on the stage that will not be published!
