These critters were spotted in the San Diego – La Jolla Underwater Park on March 24, 2015.

A pigeon flying around.  I just discovered that pigeons were once used by The U.S. Coast Guard for Search and Rescue missions.  Another wrinkle on the brain.

Y’all all (that is Texas plural for everyone) have a great week.  And Happy Fourth to the folks in the USA.   Thanks to Saturday’s Critters host Eileen.

  1. Awesome series on the Pelicans. I love the pelican flight shots. The Sea lions are cool too. I did not know that fact about the pigeons.Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

Wonderful pelican shots. I like pigeons. Overall, not a big fan of making animals/birds work for us. Can’t think of any good reason why they owe us that. As with seeing eye dogs, I only hope they are really, really well treated, even after their usefulness has faded.

    • I know humans certainly can mistreat animals as well as humans. My family dogs usually wanted to be near us and willing to ‘help’ if it pleased us. Like some folks have the need to help, maybe the animals can have the same ‘desire’.

    • Well, I really had not given it much thought but the brown are sure beautiful. May try the shampoo and vinegar trick this week! Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
