The last of the birds from our December visit to South Padre.  Glad we are not there this week as spring breaks are in full swing.  That would be way too much traffic for us two seasoned individuals!

    Those crested caracara really are neat birds. We spot them occasionally up here in the Hill Country, but not often enough. Looks like an event trip!


  2. Splendid set of birds – we have ospreys here as well – but I think they are considered a different species these days – whatever, they are still splendid!

  3. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I have to look up each bird to even get a hint of species and variety. I know I risk misidentification frequently. Just enjoying learning the birds and the cameras. Hope you have a great week..
